A Lifelong Christian, Finally Taught the Bible

I've been a Christian all my life. However, this is the first ministry that actually taught what the Bible reads and means. I love the way you teach, adding context. Most recently, The Travel through the Bible series has inspired me to read through the Bible, cover to cover and then follow up with series that cover what I've read.

While I fail every day, I think that the Wisdom resources have grown my relationship with God and when I am dialed into the preaching, gives me a great desire to be in accordance with God's plan. I also listen to the sermons when I am running (which I've lately picked up again). I also read the daily devotion which has come to mean a lot to me as well. No matter the topic, I'm always challenged to improve my relationship to God.

What reading through the Bible is teaching me is how incredibly God used ordinary sinners and how his message has never changed. I love the way he points to Jesus coming and who Jesus will be. I love the science that you incorporate into the creation story. Many times I've gotten funny looks when I tell people that to me evolution requires more faith than creation does when you look at God's beautiful and complex creation.

Overall, your application/website have helped me keep my focus on my Lord and remind me that I am his child and this is what defines me. Not my job, but my relationship with him and how I portray him through my actions. I do come to church occasionally, but would like to come more often. There is such a sense of peace when I am there.
